School Council Meeting - 6 Nov 2019

6th Nov 2019

The School Council met to identify issues that could be discussed over the coming months.  Cole Gourley acted as secretary for this meeting.

Issues and ideas identified included:

  • The playing of football in the playground, especially the impact it has on other children.  It was decided that we need some sort of class rota for football.  Softer balls are also needed, as people are occasionally being hurt by the use of harder balls.
  • The PTA has purchased new outdoor play equipment for the school.  A rota may be necessary for this too.
  • Some of the councillors felt that more litter bins are needed in the playground.  At the moment we have only one.
  • The organisation of house sporting-events during the year.
